Uthappa more focused on game than money

ndian batsman Robin Uthappa has said that even though he had been bid for a staggering USD


800,000 during the IPL players' bidding, he was concentrating on his game and not on the money.

"I can tell you that we are focused on the games here and not thinking about anything else," said Uthappa, adding that his tour of Australia had been the "most defining" tour of his career so far.
Uthappa, who has got limited chances in the Commonwealth Bank Tri-series, said he was "happy with the contributions I've made"."It's a way you think as a batsman," he told reporters at Sydney where the Indian team is preparing for its next encounter with Australia on Sunday.Uthappa admitted that he had not been getting enough runs but added that he had grown as a cricketer by playing the world's best team in their own backyard."When I go back, I know I will be returning as a better cricketer. You are playing against the best team in the world in their home and it's got to make you grow as a cricketer. This tour would be the most defining tour for most of us," he said.thappa said India was the only team which Australia need to be wary about going into the tri-series finals.
