Jung joins Seongnam

Seongnam, runners-up to Pohang in the 2007 campaign, have been in the market for a goalkeeper since Kim Yong-dae joined military outfit Gwangju Sangmu for a two-year tour of duty.Following the transfer, believed to have cost Seongnam US$ 1.6 million, the Steelers will look to former Ulsan Hyundai Horang-I goalkeeper Shin Hwa-yong and Kim Ji-hyok to fill in for Jung."Jung Sung-ryeong has joined Seongnam," confirmed Pohang's operations manager Hwang In-guk.

The Steelers, who will represent Korea in the Asian Champions League alongside FA Cup winners Chunnam Dragons, have also revealed contract negotiations with South Korea international defender Park Won-jae have stalled. It's hard to talk about the Park Won-jae situation," added Hwang. "The club and the player can't agree on the length of a new contract."
