Thaksin set for Thailand return

Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is set to return to his native Thailand tomorrow, according to reports in the Far East.haksin could face arrest after he returns to his homeland for the first time in 17 months, with corruption charges against him still outstanding. He was deposed as prime minister in September 2006 by a military coup.it is reported that Thaksin expects to be bailed so he can open negotiations about his frozen assets with the government formed by some of his political allies in December.Sitha Tivaree, who was a spokesman for Thaksin's ruling party, has travelled to Hong Kong to meet Thaksin today.
