Boyapati, an Australian-born Indian immigrant, was so impressed with Paul's credentials that he decided to quit a high-paying job at Google to campaign for Paul fulltime.“I listened to him and I was surprised that anyone like him existed in Congress because he has a very strict constitutional point of view and he doesn't give special favours to anyone. It's very difficult to stay in power without giving favours. But I did the research and he's been voting the same way for 30 years and that really impressed me,” Boyapati said.During the first meeting, Boyapati wrote a $2300 cheque for Paul's campaign, the maximum amount allowed by law.
